About the Training
How long does the training take to complete?
Approximately 50 minutes in total across seven modules. Employees can complete it in one sitting or spread it across multiple sessions – progress is saved automatically.
If you don’t offer salary sacrifice, that module can be removed, reducing training time to approximately 44 minutes.
Can employees do this on their phones?
Yes. The training is fully responsive and works on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Employees can start on one device and finish on another – their progress syncs automatically.
What if an employee doesn't complete the training?
You’ll see this in your completion report. We send automated reminder emails to employees who haven’t started or haven’t finished. How you follow up internally is your decision.
You can also request a progress report at any time during the training period.
What if someone fails a quiz?
They’re automatically prompted to re-watch the relevant module and retake the quiz. Your completion report shows who needed multiple attempts.
This ensures genuine understanding rather than just clicking through the content.
Is the training available in languages other than English?
Currently English only. If you have a significant non-English-speaking workforce, please contact us to discuss options.
We don't offer salary sacrifice. Can that module be removed?
Yes. Let us know when you place your order and we’ll exclude the salary sacrifice module. Training time reduces to approximately 44 minutes.
How are the training videos delivered?
Videos are streamed through our platform – employees don’t need to download anything. The progress bar is hidden and fast-forward is disabled, ensuring they watch the complete content.
All videos include captions for accessibility.
Getting Started
How quickly can we get started?
Once you send us your employee list, we’ll have everything set up within 48 hours. Employees can begin training immediately after they receive their login details.
Do I need to integrate this with our HR system?
No. We work from a simple employee list (names and email addresses). If you can export a spreadsheet from your HR system, that’s all we need.
No IT integration, no API setup, no technical complexity.
Can I add new employees later?
Yes. New starters can be added at the same per-employee rate, with a minimum order of 5 employees (£100).
Do employees need to create accounts?
We handle account creation. Employees receive an email with their login details – they just click a link and get started. No registration forms, no password creation for them.
Can I set a deadline for training completion?
Yes. Tell us your preferred deadline when you order, and we’ll include it in employee communications. We can also send additional reminder emails as the deadline approaches.
Can the welcome email come from our company domain?
Yes. We can send the welcome email from your company’s email domain if preferred – this can improve open rates. Just let us know when you order.
About the Reports
What's included in the completion report?
The report shows:
- Participation summary – who started, who completed, who hasn’t started
- Individual completion records – date and time for each module
- Video integrity verification – confirmation videos were watched in full
- Quiz scores – pass/fail status and actual score for each module
- Re-sit records – who needed multiple attempts and how many
- Individual PDF certificates – for each employee’s HR file
Do I need to log into a dashboard to see progress?
No dashboard required. We email you progress reports on request and send a comprehensive completion report at your deadline.
If you want dashboard access, we can provide it – but most clients prefer the simplicity of emailed reports.
Can I get reports by department or location?
Yes, if you include department or location information in your employee list. We can segment reports accordingly – useful for multi-site businesses or departmental compliance tracking.
What format are the reports in?
You receive reports in two formats:
- CSV – for your records, analysis, or import into your systems
- Formatted PDF – for sharing with management, auditors, or The Pensions Regulator
Regulatory Questions
Is this regulated financial advice?
No. This is financial education, not advice.
We provide ‘information about’ how pensions work in general terms – we never provide ‘advice on’ which specific options to choose based on individual circumstances.
The joint TPR-FCA guidance confirms employers can provide this kind of education without FCA authorisation.
Does my company have to provide pension training?
There’s no legal requirement to educate employees about pensions (beyond the basic auto-enrolment notification letters).
However, The Pensions Regulator’s Code of Practice creates clear expectations that employers help staff make “informed decisions.” Providing trackable training helps demonstrate you’re meeting these expectations.
What pension providers does this work with?
All of them. The training covers how workplace pensions work in general – it’s not specific to NEST, People’s Pension, Aviva, Scottish Widows, or any other provider.
The principles of auto-enrolment, contributions, and retirement options are the same regardless of who runs your scheme.
Can this help with TPR compliance?
While pension education itself isn’t mandatory, demonstrable employee engagement can support your overall compliance position with The Pensions Regulator.
Our completion reports provide evidence that you’ve helped employees make “informed decisions” – which aligns with TPR’s Code of Practice expectations.
Year 2 Subscription
What's included in the Year 2 subscription?
The subscription gives access to our broader financial wellbeing content library, organised into four themes:
- Money Management Fundamentals – budgeting, payslips, emergency funds, debt
- Understanding Your Benefits Package – PMI, life assurance, income protection
- Growing Your Wealth – ISAs, investing basics
- Life-Stage Modules – content targeted at early career, mid-career, and pre-retirement employees
Do we have to take the Year 2 subscription?
No obligation. The core pension training is a one-time purchase. The subscription is optional for employers who want to offer ongoing financial wellbeing education.
Can we pick which themes we want?
The subscription includes all themes. However, you can choose which modules to deploy to your workforce.
For example, you might only send the pre-retirement content to employees over 50, or focus early career content on new graduates.
When will the Year 2 content be available?
Coming soon. Register your interest when you get a quote and we’ll notify you when it launches.
Data and Security
How is employee data handled?
Employee data is used solely for training delivery. We don’t share it with third parties, use it for marketing, or retain it longer than necessary. Full GDPR compliance.

Where is data stored?
All data is stored on UK/EU-based servers with appropriate security measures in place, including encryption at rest and in transit.
How long do you retain employee data?
We retain completion records and certificates for the duration agreed in your service agreement (typically matching your record-keeping requirements). Employee personal data can be deleted on request once no longer needed.
Pricing Questions
Is there a minimum order?
Yes, £200 minimum. This ensures we can deliver the service properly and provide adequate support.
Do I have to pay upfront?
We invoice on confirmation of your order. Payment is due before we send login details to employees. We accept bank transfer (BACS) and card payment.
What if I'm not happy with the training?
We offer a preview of the training content before you commit. If you have concerns after purchase, contact us and we’ll work to resolve them.
What's the ROI on this training?
